This is a big horn for making big noise. It’s the way the European Space Agency tests how satellites stand up to the noise of a rocket launch… which, of course, they’re going to be right on top of.

The horns of the Large European Acoustic Facility use nitrogen.

No human being could survive hearing it at maximum output.
