This is how you advertise a science book. At least, it was how Hugo Gernsback did in the pages of The Electrical Experimenter in September 1916. Is that figure in the middle Hephaestus or is it Zeus? Either way, by reading this course, you’re bound to get that shirtless, lightning-wielding, machine-operating guy’s power. Just imagine! The book is “not only useful, but absolutely necessary to everybody interested in electricity.” And in 1916, who wasn’t?
