I was looking these particular dinosaurs up because I recently came across a news story about the world’s largest dinosaur skull being displayed somewhere new – a just-opened museum in Denmark.
The name “torosaurus” means “perforated lizard” because it’s got this giant frill-bone with big holes in it, which were probably covered by skin. This illustration is described as “outdated” on Wikimedia Commons. It’s still cute, though. Originally by an artist named F. John and published in an old dinosaur book called Tiere der Urwelt, from a vast collection of outdated dinosaur illustrations at CopyrightExpired.com.
