This is a chart of the human hand used as a measuring instrument for the night sky, not unlike the hand-astronomy practiced by ancient Polynesian navigators. In this case, though, we’ve got the hand as a way to chart out the signs of the Zodiac and their corresponding planets and months. Time and space, measured in finger-lengths.
